Amazing hostel in a great part of town. Everything was clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable and we had a great view of the city from our window. The rooftop terrace offered an amazing view as well. If I could, I'd give them six out of five stars.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cleveland Hostel and Guesthouse. We enjoyed socializing in the shared kitchen and common area. We stayed in a private room with an en suite bath and it was very clean and comfortable! We did not get a chance to check out the rooftop patio so we will be sure to book another stay to fully take advantage of it and the beautiful view!

We had a private Queen room with a private bathroom last summer, and it was a great stay. The staff is very friendly and the place was immaculate. And you can't beat the price! The rooms are also far more spacious than any other hostel I've been to. Our room had a big chalkboard with messages left from previous travelers (it was cool to see how far people had come from), and the rooftop patio has a wonderful view of the skyline. If I'm ever headed back to Cleveland I'll be staying here again. Highly recommend!

This place was by far the absolute best place to stay during my visit in downtown Cleveland. The owner is chill, the coffee downstairs is delicious, the rooms are clean, the prices are really reasonable, the rooftop view of tower city is AMAZING, the common room is comfortable, the WiFi is included and fast, the people that stayed were interesting, the bathrooms were kept immaculately clean, and more. There wasn't a single thing I could think of that disappointed me about this place other than the fact that I didn't get to stay longer. If you're in the area and you're a traveller, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

I had the best time here. It's like a little coffee shop with a hidden hostel above it. So cool, so hip, so comfortable! And the fact that they had vegan options made me super happy. Also, private rooms, so not a community hostel where you're afraid of the others. Quite nice and quiet as well. Highly recommend.

If you have a huge group and all want to stay under 1 roof, this is THE place. Our group of 19 stayed there and not only did everyone have their own bed, most of us had our own rooms as well! Very nicely appointed common areas and kitchen. Very good location and close to the subway.

Clean, comfortable, modern. My husband and I enjoyed a private room with private bath during a night away with friends. We were just a few steps away from great restaurants and bars. The West Side Market is just across the street. Breakfast and coffee downstairs in the morning was delicious. Oh, and the view from the rooftop bar is amazing!

I had a group of 18 people in Cleveland for a meeting. The Victor was perfect! Plenty of space, clean and large rooms, excellent and comfortable meeting / social space, and a great kitchen (we cooked several meals there and the kitchen had every we needed). Plus a great roof deck! Parking available and an easy walk to many local attractions. I highly recommend the Victor.

Absolutely amazing! My (now husband) and I booked out the entire space for our wedding. We wanted to be able to feel at home and have our immediate families stay with us so we could all spend time together. The accommodations for this could simply not have been achieved anywhere else, and we are so grateful to have had the completely private space and the time with both of our families here at The Cleveland Hostel. We even had a rooftop that we invited our wedding guests to come hang out at both Friday and Saturday night, everyone couldn’t stop talking about how cool that was! Mark was such a sweetheart and made everything seamless from start to finish. The location was unmatched, literally step outside the door and you have coffee, food, retail, breweries, etc within a block. We cannot thank Mark enough for providing this space to make our wedding weekend so special!

For a group event this is a can't miss venue. It's located within walking distance of great food, bars, and activities. The accommodations are perfect for large group events and the value is awesome. Don't stay here expecting five star amenities, stay here for a budget friendly, clean, centrally located place to host an outing.
